Many of our customers are looking for an efficient way to process coconut shells. To help you evaluate the right solution, we recently completed a full grinding test using our BSC coarse crusher and BSPair classifier mill.
Here’s how we processed the material:
Coarse grinding
We first fed the whole husked coconut shells into BSC coarse crusher, reducing them into small, manageable particles.
Drying process
The raw coconut shell we used was quite moist, which would negatively affect grinding performance. For this reason, we dried the coarsely crushed particles before fine grinding.
Fine grinding with air classifier mill
The dried particles were then sent to our BSPair classifier mill for superfine grinding. The machine worked smoothly with fast discharge and stable performance.
Sieving analysis
We tested the final powder with a sieve.
The result: 90% of the ground powder passed 60 mesh, while only the fibrous components remained on the sieve.
This combination of coarse crusher + air classifier mill proves to be an effective, reliable solution for husked coconut shell processing.
